Avanti Equipment Finance finances new and used bulldozers of every size class — small site dozers, mid-size crawlers, large earthmovers, LGP and wheel dozers — from a dealer, an auction or a private seller, with the blade, ripper and any GPS grade-control package financed with the tractor. There is no blanket model-year cutoff on a dozer: undercarriage condition, hours and the amount financed set the term. Every credit profile is considered on amounts from $20K to $500K+ with terms up to 72 months; machines under $300K usually fit app-only programs with no tax returns, larger dozers are structured with a financial package, and most applicants get a decision in as little as 24 hours.
A dozer is bought for the work nothing else does well — stripping and grading a site, building a pad, pushing fill, cutting a road, finishing a slope to grade. It's also a machine that lives on its undercarriage, and financing it well means looking at the iron the way an operator does. We finance dozers of every size class, new or used, from a dealer, an auction or a private seller, with the blade, ripper and any GPS or grade-control system financed on the same deal as the tractor. There is no blanket model-year rule on iron here: undercarriage condition, hours and the amount financed set the term, so a well-maintained older dozer is financed on its merits. Small and mid-size machines usually fit the app-only program with no tax returns; a large dozer over $300K gets structured properly with a financial package and a payment the machine can cover from the work it's bought for. Strong credit and a few years in business can mean $0 down; challenged credit usually means a down payment, and you'll know the number before you put a deposit on anything. Decisions come back in as little as 24 hours, and we coordinate direct payment to the seller.
Any crawler or wheel dozer built for pushing and grading, financed as one unit with its blade and attachments:
On a used dozer, the undercarriage — track chains, pads, rollers, idlers, sprockets — can be 40 to 50 percent of the machine's value and the single biggest repair it will ever need. Two dozers with the same year and hours can be $40,000 apart because one has 20 percent undercarriage life left and the other has 80. Have it measured (a dealer or an inspector will give you a percent-worn figure for each component) and price the machine, and the financing, against that number.
There is no blanket model-year cutoff on a dozer here. Undercarriage condition, hours, service history and the amount financed set the term: a machine with a fresh undercarriage can carry a long term, one that needs tracks next season is matched to a shorter one or priced to reflect the work coming.
A mid-size used crawler often lands under $300K, where app-only programs are usually available with no tax returns. A late-model mid-size or any large dozer runs past that line, and the deal is structured like the purchase it is: a financial package — the last two years of tax returns, a balance sheet, a P&L and bank statements — a term matched to the machine's working life, and a payment set from what the business earns.
Time in business, existing earthmoving revenue and work under contract all strengthen the file. Equipment you already own can be pledged to lower the cash at closing. A newer business buying its first dozer should plan on a meaningful down payment; you'll hear the exact expectation before you commit.
Beyond the undercarriage, the things that decide whether a used dozer is a bargain or a project:
A listing or a dealer quote lets us review the actual dozer instead of a price alone. Have these ready:
You can start with a short application and the machine details. We will let you know what supporting documents your profile requires. If bank statements are requested, provide:

The program, stated plainly: what qualifies, what it takes, and what to expect.
| Equipment financed | New, used and higher-hour crawler dozers of every size class, LGP and wheel dozers, with blade, ripper and grade-control packages. The term is set by hours, condition and the amount financed — no blanket model-year cutoff. |
|---|---|
| Where you can buy | Dealers, auctions and private sellers. A private-party purchase gets the same terms as a dealer deal — the title, any lien payoff and direct payment to the seller are handled for you. |
| Credit profiles | Every profile — A-paper to challenged credit, thin credit, past (discharged) bankruptcy, and startups under two years in business. |
| Amounts and terms | $20,000 to $500,000+ with terms up to 72 months. |
| Down payment | Strong credit and time in business can mean $0 down. Challenged credit (under 600) typically pairs with 30–40% down; there is no blanket model-year rule on iron — hours and condition set the term. Owned, titled equipment can be pledged to lower the cash at closing, and you'll know the number before you put a deposit on anything. |
| Paperwork | App-only programs with no tax returns on many deals under $300,000. Over $300,000, plan on a financial package — two years of tax returns, a balance sheet, a P&L and bank statements. Bank statements are asked for on smaller deals only when the credit profile calls for them. |
| Decision and funding | Decisions in as little as 24 hours from a short online application. Avanti coordinates funding through its lending partners, paid directly to the seller — usually within a few days — for businesses in 49 states, fully remote. |
Small, mid-size and large crawler dozers, LGP dozers and wheel dozers — new or used, from a dealer, an auction or a private seller. The blade, ripper, winch and any GPS or grade-control package are financed on the same deal as the tractor.
No blanket model-year cutoff. Undercarriage condition, hours, service history and the amount financed set the term. A machine with a fresh undercarriage can carry a long term; one that needs tracks soon is matched to a shorter term or priced to reflect it.
Strong credit and a few years in business can mean $0 down. Challenged credit or a newer business typically means a down payment, often 20 to 40 percent, and owned equipment can be pledged to lower it. You'll know the exact number before you commit to a machine.
Yes. Auction and private-party purchases get the same terms as a dealer purchase. We verify the machine and the seller, handle the title and any lien payoff, and coordinate direct payment to the seller. Get the undercarriage measured before you bid.
Yes. GPS and grade-control hardware bought with the machine is part of the unit's value and is financed with it. Confirm that receivers, the display and any subscriptions convey with the sale.
Under $300K, app-only programs are often available with no tax returns. Over $300K — common on a late-model mid-size or any large dozer — expect a financial package: the last two years of tax returns, a balance sheet, a P&L and bank statements.
Yes. Businesses under two years old are welcome. A first dozer usually means a meaningful down payment, and a smaller machine or existing dirt-work revenue makes the file stronger. We'll tell you where you stand before you put a deposit down.
